"Children Of Asylum Seekers Are Welcomed In Newham Schools" ....Annual Competition

Newham Teachers' Association's Annual Competition aims to celebrate and bring about awareness of Refugees in our community and understand the reasons people seek sanctuaries.

All pupils are invited to write a poem that will reflect the awareness of issues faced by refugees and asylum seekers.

Refugee Week: 18th to 22nd June 2007

Closing date for competion: Friday 29th June 2007

Prize Giving Date: 17th July 2007
